Praia Porto de Mos is a long and wide open expanse. It is surrounded by stunning cliff views and a great spot to body surf in.
Praia Dona Ana is a very popular and great beach.
Praia do Camilo is on the road to Ponte de Piedade and is a secluded little beach cove. From one beach you can walk through a tunnel in the rock to reach another beach. The water here is crystal clear and the shallow rocky ocean floor attracts interesting marine life and is a great spot for snorkeling. This beach is sheltered from the winds and the views from the cliffs here are breath taking. The beach has a long staggered stair case from the car park down to the beach.
Praia do Pinhao a small beach cove. The cliffs tower around the beach and create shaded areas.
There are also fabulous beaches at Meia Praia and in Luz.
